 Himani Agrawal has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft India & South Asia as part of a strategic leadership reshuffle marking the company’s 50th anniversary. With over 25 years at Microsoft, Agrawal previously served as Chief Partner Officer and held key roles such as Chief of Staff and Country Head for Azure and Business Applications. In her new role, she will oversee business alignment, revenue growth, and operational efficiency across the region.

Joining her in new leadership positions are Nitin Mittal, appointed Industry Leader for Digital Natives, and Aparna Kondaboina , named Head of Human Resources for Microsoft Customers and Partners Solutions (MCAPS) in India & South Asia. Mittal brings expertise from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) , Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) , and Solv, while Kondaboina, with over 23 years in HR across India and the US, has contributed significantly to the Microsoft India Development Centre. These appointments reinforce Microsoft’s commitment to AI-driven transformation and inclusive growth, as highlighted by Puneet Chandok , President of Microsoft India & South Asia.
