Nalin Mehta has taken on the role of Chief AI Officer – Editorial Operations at Network18 Media & Investments Limited. Additionally, he will lead efforts to train journalists in leveraging AI technologies, enabling seamless integration across Network18’s various brands.
He continues to serve as Managing Editor at moneycontrol.com, a position he has held since late 2023, where he has played a pivotal role in reshaping business journalism. Prior to this, Nalin was the Group Consulting Editor at Network18 Media & Investments Limited, contributing significantly to the company’s editorial strategy and operations. His career is marked by prominent roles in both media and academia, including leadership positions at UPES, the Institute of South Asian Studies (NUS), and a senior specialist role at The Global Fund. With extensive experience in digital journalism, research, and policy, along with his tenure at The Times Of India and India Today, Nalin is well-equipped to lead AI integration at Network18, maintaining the highest standards of editorial ethics and precision.
